NATO Night
acrylic on canvas
H. 22″ W. 30″
$6300
During the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, friends there told us of the loud
reverberating terror of night bombing. In the curved bottom section of the
drawing are dried rose petals in memory of those who died. Yugoslavia was
the only socialist that stood up to Joseph Stalin, but it was a successful
model of socialism nonetheless.
