Relevant to her artistic production, Ahní Rocheleau served as the New Mexico coordinator for the 2014 transnational Great March for Climate Action (from L.A. to D.C), guiding marchers from Arizona, through New Mexico to Colorado’s border, working closely with twelve Indigenous tribal administrations from Zuni to Taos, the U.S. Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management to establish for the marchers walkable byways and 29 impromptu camps; followed by the Great March for Climate Action meeting with the four-mile long 2014 People’s Climate March in New York City!
